Dirty Genes® - MTHFR Supplements
If you have an MTHFR gene SNP, you need supplementation that is bioavailable and doesn’t slow down your methylation processes. MTHFR (short for methylenetetrahydrofolate reductase) produces an enzyme that helps regulate how well your DNA methylation cycle works. Polymorphisms mean that MTHFR less efficiently converts folic acid (vitamin B9) and vitamin B12 to active forms.
